Doris Violet Marie Sundberg-Knudson "Granny" passed away in her home with family and friends by her side on April 18, 2024, at the age of 93, in Kalispell.

She was born in Butte, on June 21, 1930, to Everett and Anna Nelson-Sundberg.

Widowed in 1966, a year later she remarried Eldon “Gunner” Knudson who preceded her in death. Married 22 years together, early in the marriage they moved to Somers where she worked at the Flathead County Nursing Home in Bigfork and Kalispell. After retirement, she continued working cleaning homes and businesses in the Flathead Valley until her death.
