Robert Prescott, 76
We are very sad to announce the passing of our dearly loved father, brother, grandfather and friend, Robert Prescott — known as Bob to most and Bobby by some who were privileged to know him the longest.
Bob was a hard working, friendly, humorous and conscientious man who put his all into everything he did. He wasn't afraid to tackle any project; from building tiny bird houses, furniture for his kids bedrooms, an outside stone barbecue on Cedar Drive for his beautiful wife, Cindy Lou, to assisting in the fabrication of a large lumber mill. The list could go on and on. He wasn't an idle man.
He loved fishing, hunting, spending time at his cabins over the years and being with family and friends. With Bob, friends truly became family. His family and friends hold very dear memories of a very dear man.
The most cherished gift he received and shared with others was his love for his Creator, Jehovah God. You did not know Bob and not hear about the faith he had in the promises held out in the Bible. He believed completely in the resurrection to a beautiful paradise on earth that is soon to occur, erasing all of mankind's present woes, especially sickness and death. His faith was strong to the end.
Bob lost the love of his life, Cindy Lou Prescott, in June of 2020. They would have been married 50 years on July 16, 2020. His oldest son, Joel Robert Prescott, passed away in November of 2017. Prior to that, Bob lost his mother, Frances Mayette Prescott; his Father, Robert Prescott Sr.; his second mother, Corylene Prescott; his sister Judy and his youngest brother, Tim Prescott.
He is survived by his children, Christina (Kevin) Roberts, Corylene (Brian) Larson, and Jesse (Tiffani) Prescott; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Connie Prescott Kehoe, Mary Beth Starks Mazurkiewicz and Jim Prescott.
A memorial will be held at 2 p.m. on May 18. Please join us at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses located at 100 Valley View Court, Kalispell. If you are unable to attend in person, please contact family or Pleasant Valley congregation elders for the ZOOM ID and password.
