Cynthia "Cindy" Elaine Bullock, 64
Cynthia "Cindy" Elaine Bullock was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world surrounded by loved ones to join our Heavenly Father on April 28, 2024, at age 64. Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound after her 5-year courageous battle with cancer.
Cindy was born on June 14, 1959, to Wes and Elaine Persinger in Burns, Oregon. She was the youngest of four children. From 1974 - 1978 she attended Grant Union High School in John Day, Oregon. In 1975, she met the love of her life Donald Bullock, while at the drive-in movies in John Day. They knew from that moment they would spend the rest of their lives together. Cindy married her best friend on Aug. 27, 1977, almost 47 years ago. Those beautiful years have brought many memories and adventures. They were blessed with two daughters Manuella "Mandi" Hernandez (Frank) and Alisha Bullock. Her beautiful daughters brought so much joy and laughter. She was so proud of both girls. Cindy told Frank, when he married Mandi, she was blessed to now have a son. Cindy’s greatest treasures in life was her grandbabies, Tierra Lozon (Alex), Isaiah and Micah White-Bullock and River Hernandez. Tierra and Alex are getting married on Aug. 27, 2024, and she was so excited to share that day with them, with that being her and Don’s Anniversary.
She embodied the best of qualities; unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity that could be seen in her care for her husband, daughters, her son-in-law, grandchildren, rest of her family and countless others. Cindy was big hearted and vibrant, and radiated light. She accepted everyone with an open heart, open arms, and a perpetual smile. She had immense passion for the Lord, her family, gardening, cooking/baking and sewing.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Bullock, who has given unconditional faith, love and support; her daughters, Mandi (Frank), and Alisha; grandkids, Tierra (Alex), Isaiah, Micah, and River; her brother’s, Gary (Ilene) Persinger, and Scott (Wendy) Persinger; her brother, sister in-law’s, and her many nieces and nephews throughout Montana, Oregon and Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wes and Elaine Persinger; and her oldest brother, Brent Persinger.
She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each of them and if you knew her, you knew it. When her time came, she carried herself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before her. She will be missed dearly.
