NO. 30370 NOTICE OF PASSAGE OF RESOLUTION OF INTENTION EVERGREEN ZONING DISTRICT The Board of Commissioners of Flathead County, Montana, hereby gives notice pursuant to Section 76-2-205(5), M.C.A., that it passed a resolution of intention (Resolution No. 797IO) on May 13, 2024, to change the zoning designation in a por¬tion of the Evergreen Zoning District from R-1 (Suburban Residential) to (B-2 General Business). The boundaries of the areas proposed to be amended from R-1 (Suburban Residential) to (B-2 General Business) are described as: A tract of land in the SW¼SW¼ of Section 4, Township 28 North, Range 21 West, M.P.M., Flathead County Montana; described as follows; Commencing at the Northeast Corner of said SW¼SW¼; thence along the North Line thereof South 89°45’19” West a distance of 30 feet to a point on the East line of that tract described in Warranty Deed recorded June 9, 1956 in Book 391, page 110, records Flathead County, Montana; thence along the East Line of said tract South 10°55’21” West a distance of 154.63 feet to the point of beginning of the tract to be described; thence continuing along the East line of said Tract South 00°15’52” East a distance of 270.67 feet to the Southeast Corner of said tract; thence along the Southerly line of said tract West a distance of 483.51 feet to the Southwest Corner of said Tract; thence along the Westerly Line of said tract North a distance of 270.66 feet to a point; thence East a distance of 482.26 feet to the point of beginning. The zoning amendment application and other documents related to the proposed zone change are also on file for public inspection at the Of¬fice of the Board of Commissioners and the Flathead County Planning and Zoning Office. For thirty (30) days after the first publication of this notice, the Board of Commissioners will receive written comment to the change proposed for a portion of the Evergreen Zoning District. Within 30 days after the expiration of the comment period, the Board of County Commissioners may in its discretion pass the resolution amending the Evergreen Zoning District.
