Law roundup: Scent of a woman might be alcohol
Someone called the Kalispell Police Department when they reportedly spotted a woman who smelled of alcohol driving a black SUV with a 2-year-old passenger. They told officers they noticed the alcohol smell when they stood by her at a gas station.
Someone called the police after hearing an alarm go off for 30 minutes. Officers made contact with a resident who said they would take care of what turned out to be a car alarm.
A landlord allegedly tried to pawn off a tenant’s complaint about a neighbor playing their music and TV too loudly by telling them to call the police. The police advised the tenant to take the issue up with the property manager.
A yellow van and a small white car with out-of-state license plates allegedly set up camp in front of a man’s house for two months. The vehicles’ occupants’ dogs reportedly would rush him when he went outside. Officers counseled the drivers and dog owners about their behavior.
People with dogs running loose at a park were advised to keep their pups leashed within city limits. A man was also told to move his vehicle or it would be towed as it had already been stickered with notices to move within 72-hours multiple times that went ignored.
