Bernadette Dufour, 102

Bernadette Dufour passed away peacefully after a full life at 102 years old. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buster; and son, Peter. Born to Frenchtown pioneers Dorila Paul and Anna Boyer. She graduated from Arlee High School and Montana Normal College. Bernie taught in the Bigfork school system until marrying Buster. They lived at Coffee Creek, Philipsburg, Hamilton and resided near Somers for 45 years. 

She enjoyed the last two years at Buffalo Hills Terrace with the caring staff. Bernie attributes her longevity to organic gardening, a healthy lifestyle and good humor. 

She is survived by her daughters, Diane and Roxie; grandchildren, Taharaa, Bijoux, Eddie, Schuyler and Colin; and five great-grandchildren, Kai, Kayla, Becky, Brianna and Maddox.
