Hattie E. McCracken, 84

Hattie McCracken, 84, gained her angel wings on May 21, 2024, surrounded by family.

Born on November 13, 1939, to Homer and Nellie Prichard in Poplar, Montana, Hattie lived a life full of love and dedication. On April 17, 1960, she married Fred McCracken in a ceremony held at her parents' home in Columbia Falls. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, her beloved husband, and her eldest son, Tim McCracken. 

She is survived by her children, Chandra Reynolds (Randy), Jeff McCracken, Rick McCracken (Julianne), and Jason McCracken (Brandie); her brothers, Kenneth, Forrest and Richard (Betty) Prichard; along with 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, at Fairview Cemetery in Columbia Falls. A potluck dinner will follow at the Bad Rock Volunteer Fire Department on Hwy 206. Darlington Cremation and Burial Service is caring for the family and handling the arrangements.
