Concert features Scandinavian composers
The third concert of the Masterpieces series local violinist Wai Mizutani presents Scandinavia Bound! on June 7.
This concert features the talents of Wai Mizutani on violin, Andrew Schultz on viola, Griffin Browne on cello and JiaJia Farr as a violinist and the featured soloist in her first featured artist position. The repertoire will consist of Scandinavian composers, such as Sibelius and Grieg.
Mizutani is a renowned violinist and Julliard graduate. He has performed worldwide.
Farr was born in China and adopted at the age of 1. She has called Montana home for the last 10 years.
Browne is the principal cellist in the Glacier Symphony and a private cello instructor. He has appeared as a soloist with orchestras in Montana, Tennessee and Mississippi.
Schultz has worked with Mizutani since his sophomore year of high school and has performed in a number of small ensembles as well as the Glacier Symphony.
