A man allegedly pulled up to a location in an old Ford Ranger truck and, after parking incorrectly, got out. He started picking up piles of leaves with a shovel and dumping them in a garbage can, making the trip three times. A passerby took a gander at the garbage can and called the Kalispell Police Department, voicing suspicions that the man was “trying to hide something” in the leaves. Officers didn’t find anything unusual.

Two dogs with appetites for a raw diet became a road hazard when they began feasting on roadkill.

A man driving a black diesel GMC truck reportedly yelled at someone out his window and after making a loop returned to drive his message home by threatening to shoot them. He reportedly denied saying anything about a gun to officers.

A passerby in a store parking lot reportedly called the police saying he followed two people in a black car he suspected of being shoplifters. His suspicion was aroused by their hasty departure. Apparently, they dumped items into the trunk of the car and drove off recklessly, nearly running over a cart, swerving and running stop signs.

A man allegedly dropped his very intoxicated ex off at a location to sleep when she assaulted him and tried to take their child. He reportedly locked himself and the infant in his pickup and called the police, thinking she was crawling under his tires and voiced concerns about her having a gun in the house. Crying, she moved to the yard where he realized she couldn’t get into the house without her purse, which was still in the truck. Dispatch advised him to wait for officers before giving it to her. He left and she went inside the house after the officers arrived.

A woman allegedly kept parking her cars in the street for months at a time. Officers put a notice to move within 72 hours on a white Buick.

A man reportedly violated a restraining order by continuously calling his ex-wife and driving by her house.

Officers received a later call that a man allegedly upset about a breakup with his girlfriend began following her car after she drove off when his attempt to talk to her proved futile. She headed to the Police Department when he stopped tailing her.
