Barking mad about alleged wolf dogs on the prowl along Airport Road, a resident phoned the Kalispell Police Department hoping officers could do something about the canines. While the wolf dogs weren't out and about at that moment, they were carousing the night prior, they told officers. They wanted to know what the police planned to do about it.

A property manager reported seeing a younger boy getting harassed by a man who did not live there. They worried about possible child abuse.

An argument between siblings over their recently deceased father's belongings boiled over when one of the two brothers threatened to shoot the other in the head. After making the threat, he sped off his brother's property but not before running over a garbage can. Officers walked the other brother through how to get a restraining order. They also let the offending brother know he was no longer welcome on his sibling's property.

Officers arrested a man on pending burglary, assault and criminal mischief charges after he allegedly attacked someone in their own home.

Authorities banned a homeless man from a business after he allegedly was caught shoplifting clothes.

Someone rented a vehicle and refused to return it.

Officers pulled over a black Tesla Cybertruck.

Someone called the police to let them know he was being discharged from the hospital but had no place to go. He planned to stay at the medical facility until he was arrested for trespassing. That way he could get a bed in jail.

Officers took a woman to jail after authorities confirmed she had violated the conditions of her release.  Spotting a man yelling obscenities while walking down the sidewalk, a passerby thought maybe officers should speak with him.

The owner of a vehicle involved in a police chase asked officers for help getting it back. The towing company was asking $400 for it, but the owner — who was not driving it during the chase —  felt that he shouldn't have to pay for its return.

Officers cleared a house on behalf of a woman who arrived to find the place ransacked. She said it belonged to her father, but she keeps an eye on it. She suspected a former tenant of breaking in and trashing the place.

Someone rang a resident's doorbell just past midnight on Halloween. The mysterious visitor rang the bell again the next week, this time at about 1:30 a.m. Since she lives alone, she didn't feel comfortable answering the door on either occasion and asked officers if it was just her or if other people had reported similar activity.
