Someone allegedly test-drove a 2005 Volkswagen Jetta and never returned. The car owner called the Kalispell Police Department after three to four weeks passed and the individual, who lived near Bigfork, still refused to return it.

A woman reportedly called officers after someone in an apartment building called to have someone removed from the property, wanting people to know that “she belongs.” She said she didn’t want to speak with an officer, saying she was “already in trouble.”

Someone allegedly heard sounds coming from upstairs despite verifying their roommate was not home. The house was cleared by police.

Officers responded to walk-up complaints about a transient camp on the hill at Woodland Park where people were defecating on the trail.

Officers advised a man about his warrant, again, and ticketed two people for violating park rules in addition to being banned from all city parks for 24 hours.

A man was reportedly slumped over in the driver’s seat of a pickup that had been parked in the middle of the road for roughly five hours. He was moved along.

A manager asked officers to check on the welfare of a woman who had allegedly been on the property all night because she was acting strangely, was lying on the ground and was unable to speak well. The manager wanted her moved along.

Officers later stopped to ask a woman reportedly lying on a curb if she needed medical attention. She said she was fine. Officers determined she might be dealing with mental health problems.

Officers received a later call about a “well-dressed” woman in her 20s who was allegedly sitting on a curb near tennis courts holding her stomach and sounding like she was in a lot of pain. The caller said the woman told them she did not need help, but they wanted officers to check anyway.
