Letters to the editor Nov. 11
Loud and clear
So our long national nightmare is almost over. There are no words to describe the relief for many of us, that this ominous, woke, unhinged, America loathing administration will be moving on.
The American people have spoken in unprecedented numbers that we are done. Done with DEI and woke.
Whether by the popular or electoral college vote President Donald Trump won in huge numbers. As the left lunatic media trumpeted their scare tactics and name calling to try and intimidate the voters of this nation, people saw right through their outrageous claptrap. And after a resounding defeat they still show absolutely no signs of any self awareness whatsoever. Days after the election they are still ranting and fear mongering. When none of their fears come to pass will there be any public apology from them? The answer to that would be no. Much of what they portend is delusional.
The Democrat Party of JFK and RFK has been subverted by the Marxist wing on the extreme left. Their behavior and catastrophic thinking is bordering on mental instability and illness.
As Trump prepares to implement his Make America Great Again polices that will benefit all Americans and strengthen our safety and prosperity, I am willing to bet that those who continue to harbor a loathing for Trump will gladly belly up to the bar and reap the benefits of a country made wealthier and more prosperous by a man they are addicted to loathing.
The country spoke loudly and clearly. Stop the Trump derangement insanity. You look petulant and totally lacking in any self reflection.

Worker’s party
Democrats were playing checkers. Republicans play rugby. Weak and whimpering Democrats got pummeled because they don’t even know what the game is.
Naïve Democrats think it’s about issues and policies, phone-banking and door-knocking with feckless pleas to voters about issues. The Flathead working class couldn’t care less about policy. Surveys of Republican voters show shocking levels of misunderstandings and delusional thinking about the fake stage-crafted billionaires and war heroes that Republicans wheel out on stage. Read Ben Rhodes about how authoritarians sweep elections around the world. They win because angry and uneducated working class voters in places like Kalispell are so easily bamboozled by big man theatrics.
The working class won’t figure it out until the billionaire agenda is fully implemented. Social Security cost of living adjustments? Medicare, vaccines for measles and polio, health insurance with pre-existing conditions? Public education, public lands, worker and women’s rights? It’s all history.
Will Democrats save us? No chance. The fact that Democrats are still putting Schumer and Pelosi on camera proves that they are still bringing a checker board to a rugby match.
Until a genuine worker’s party emerges from the ashes we need to learn to live under the billionaire agenda.

Editorial comment
From the Associated Press (Republican Tim Sheehy defeats 3-term incumbent to flip Montana US Senate seat), “Republicans still bitter about his 2006 win over former Sen. Conrad Burns had been working for 18 years to topple Tester. This was the first election that he appeared on the ballot alongside Trump, who easily won Montana in each of the last three elections.”
I abhor editorial comment/content included in and under the guise of news. Apparently, according to this AP news reporter, all Republicans — discerned by the left to have no reasoning skills — have been politically ignorant ever since Tester’s first election, as evidenced by our supposed all-consuming bitter revenge mission to vote Tester out.
Tester lost because he has underperformed and blows with the wind. Can we call it a day and move forward together? Please?
