KT Tunstall, Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan set to perform in Kalispell

| November 21, 2024 12:00 AM

Tickets are on sale to see country stars Pam Tillis’ and Lorrie Morgan’s Grits and Glam tour in March and folk and rock musician KT Tunstall in May at the Wachholz College Center.

Tunstall burst onto the music scene with her 2004 multi-platinum debut, “Eye to the Telescope,” which spawned the global hits “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” and “Suddenly I See.” These songs established Tunstall as a must-see performer and a songwriter with a knack for balancing introspective folk and propulsive rock.

“I feel there are two immediate, recognizable pillars of my style," she says. "I have this troubadour, acoustic guitar-driven emotional side. Then there's definitely a rocker side of me with sharper teeth,” Tunstall states in her bio at www.kttunstall.com.

In the last few years, the Scottish musician has focused on a trilogy of records, where each album zeroes in on a single concept: soul, body and mind with the latest being “NUT.”

Tillis and Morgan are delighting old and new fans across North America on their Grits and Glamour Tour. Their career highlights are numerous and varied. Combined, they have recorded 28 top 10 hits, more than 18 million records sold and 12 number one songs. There have been Grammys, CMA Awards, movie credits, television appearances and Broadway performances. They have rocked arenas, helmed world-class symphonies and toured on almost every continent.

“Although we've practically grown up together, running in the same circles and backstage at the Opry as children, it truly is a newfound friendship,” Tillis states in their bio at www.gritsandglamour.com.

“We've known one another for years but over the last few years we’ve grown from ‘someone you know’ to having a real ‘got your back’ kind of friendship,” Morgan said.

Tillis and Morgan will perform at 7:30 p.m. March 20. Tunstall will be performing at 7:30 p.m. May 4. The college center is located on the Flathead Valley Community College Campus, 777 Grandview Drive in Kalispell.

Ticket prices to see Tillis and Morgan range from $59.40 to $93.50, including service fees. Tickets to see Tunstall range in price from $38.50 to $52.80, which includes service fees.

Tickets may be purchased online at wccmt.org, or by visiting/calling the ticket office at 756-1400.
