Whitefish, Bigfork and Polson spikers named All-State
Whitefish’s Isabella Hartwig and Myli Ridgeway and Bigfork’s Taylor Howlett earned Class A All-State volleyball honors, according to the Northwest A All-Conference team released Wednesday.
Polson’s Mckenna Corley joined the trio on the All-State list.
The four were also named first-team all-conference, and were joined by the Pirates’ Samantha Rensvold and Bulldogs’ Maggie Mercer.
Whitefish led all schools with six players named to the all-conference teams; Allie Shors, Camry Kelch and Kaydence Blackwell were honorable mention.
Bigfork coach Ariel Putman was selected as coach of the year.
The Valkyries also saw Maddie Hayes Corona and Piper Lee make the second team all-conference.
Columbia Falls had three named to the teams with Emalee Alton and Rylee Swanson picking up second-team selections, while Sadie Cheff earned all-conference honorable mention.
Embree Bird and Rylee Taylor-Jefferson also received selections for the Pirates; Bird on the second team and Taylor-Jefferson as an honorable mention.
Ronan had three players named to the teams: Kaydance Santos was second team and Seattle Adams and Sierra Blood were honorable mention.
