Glacier’s Dorcheus commits to Montana Tech
Kobe Dorcheus is headed to Butte.
The Glacier running back announced his commitment to Montana Tech Thursday after helping the Wolfpack to their second consecutive AA state championship game.
“Today I am grateful for my family and my coaches along the way,” Dorcheus said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “After careful consideration I have decided to commit to (Montana Tech Football) next year.”
Dorcheus led the state with 1,726 rushing yards during his senior season — also setting a single season record for the Wolfpack — and found the endzone 27 times. He finished with 188 yards in Glacier’s state championship game against Helena Capital and broke 100 yards in 10 of their games this season.
Dorcheus also holds the Glacier record for the longest touchdown run in school history — a 95-yard scamper against Hellgate in 2024.
He earned All-State honors as a junior after finishing with 1,054 yards on the ground and 14 rushing touchdowns. The Wolfpack reached the state championship against Bozeman.
In total, Dorcheus amassed 3,267 yards rushing and found paydirt 48 times on the ground for the Wolfpack.
Dorcheus joins a Montana Tech team that finished 9-2 in the 2024 regular season and earned a No. 8 seed in the NAIA football championship series.
