Kalispell woman killed in head-on collision near Bigfork
A Kalispell woman was killed in a head-on crash Monday, Nov. 25 on Montana 35 near Bigfork.
The 32-year-old was the passenger in a Chevy Cruze driven by a 28-year-old Kalispell man, according to a Highway Patrol report issued Friday.
Their vehicle was traveling south at 11:19 p.m., when it was hit by a northbound Jeep Cherokee that crossed the center line. The collision occurred on the southbound shoulder of the highway at mile marker 36.
The 40-year-old Kalispell man driving the Jeep was transported to Logan Health Medical and treated for injuries.
The driver of the Cruze was also injured and taken to the hospital. The passenger died at the scene of the crash.
Everyone involved was wearing a seat belt. Road conditions were listed as wet.
