Flathead drops games at East-West crossover
GREAT FALLS — The Flathead Bravettes dropped all four matches at the second East-West crossover event of the season Saturday.
The Bravettes (5-13 overall, 4-3 in Western AA matches) played against Great Falls, CMR, Bozeman and Gallatin.
Emma Eve led Flathead with eight kills in their three-set match against Great Falls, she also added four aces against the Bison.
Hannah Cantrell led the Bravettes in assists in three of the four matches.
Flathead heads to Helena for their next match on Friday.
Ronan defeats Polson
RONAN — The Ronan Maidens took three-of-four sets at home to hand the Polson Pirates their first loss of the season on Saturday.
Ronan won the first set 25-21 before Polson answered back in the second set, winning 25-21. Ronan responded by winning the final two sets, 25-19 and 25-20.
Sierra Blood was huge for the Maidens, accounting for 13 kills and four aces. Seattle Adams was the catalyst for the Maidens with 16 digs and 28 of the team’s 32 assists.
Ronan’s next game will be Thursday against Bigfork, Polson hosts Columbia Falls the same evening.
