THE GLACIER SURF U8 Manchester City Academy team poses with their medals after competing in the 3rd Annual Premier Cup tournament last weekend in Whitefish and Kalispell. The event was open to all soccer clubs and teams and has shown significant growth. Teams from Tri-Cities, Spokane, Coeur d’Alene, Sandpoint, Missoula, Helena, Bozeman as well as local teams from Bigfork, Kalispell, and Whitefish competed -- a total of 157 teams spread over 20 divisions. “It takes a village to make these weekends possible and our staff, our coaches, our parents, and our sponsors have been top-notch in putting in the work behind the scenes to make the weekend a success for everyone involved,” Glacier Surf Soccer Club director Nate Evans said. “Bigfork Soccer Club has also been extremely helpful and supportive in making the weekend possible.” (photo courtesy of Nate Evans)
