Rachel Brannan broke a 1-1 tie with her first goal of the season, and Emmery Schmidt had a goal and assist in Glacier’s 3-1 win over Helena in Western AA soccer Friday at the Glacier fields.

Helena (3-7-1) jumped out to a 1-0 lead, but Schmidt scored the equalizer off an assist from Gracie Winkler in the 36th minute.

Schmidt set up Brannan’s go-ahead goal in the 50th minute, and Neve Travis scored 18 minutes later for the Wolfpack (7-3-2).

"Our history of feeling a team out in the first half continued against Helena,” Wolfpack coach Doug Mello said. “But come the second half we picked up the pace. We are peaking at the right time of the season. We worked hard for all three of our goals. Credit to all for buckling down.”
