Glacier girls soccer cruises past Butte; boys win 10-0

BUTTE — Hazel Remley and Emmery Schmidt scored twice as Glacier girls soccer defeated Butte 7-0 Thursday.

“We played a tight match in terrible conditions, all credit to our ball movement and shot selection.” Glacier coach Doug Mello said. “I feel we are peaking at the right time to hopefully move deep into the playoffs”. 

Lucy Holloway opened the scoring 16 minutes in on an assist from Rachel Brannan, Schmidt and Bailee Dahlman added first half tallies to send the Wolfpack (9-3-2) into the half up 3-0. 

Seven minutes into the second half Schmidt kept the scoring going, she added an assist to Gracie Winkler in the 53rd minute. 

Remley tallied her first from the penalty spot and closed out the scoring in the 79th minute on a Teagan Guyette assist. The Wolfpack outshot the Bulldogs (0-14) 25-4.

BUTTE — Brayden Jenkinson scored a hat trick as the Wolfpack defeated Butte 10-0 Thursday. 

Liam Ells added two goals and five assists for Glacier, and took over as the program's career points leader. 

Nash Lisowski scored a pair of goals also. Brecken Evenson, AJ Zlogar and Grant Lisowski also scored goals for the Wolfpack (8-6).
