Law roundup: Bicyclist bides time with firecrackers

A bicyclist reportedly entertained himself by chucking firecrackers in the road and yelling at vehicles driving by in Kalispell. 

A tired Kalispell resident called Flathead County Sheriff's Office complaining about a noisy dirt bike racing up and down the road and threatened that there would be a "shotgun blast here soon if law enforcement does not do something," noting he worked a night shift and "deserved quiet." Let's just say he was unhappy to find out there isn't a noise ordinance in the county. 

Someone calling the Flathead County Sheriff's Office from Columbia Falls allegedly heard arguing, a person someone said, "Get off the property," and then heard three gun shots. 

A man with a hammer and crowbar was reportedly "losing it" in Kalispell when he began throwing rocks and yelling at people and threatened to hurt someone's girlfriend. 

A Kila resident was reportedly getting scammed out of $20,000 and called deputies worried they would get more since he already gave them some money. 

A woman called deputies about her son, who smelled of alcohol, needed to leave and was kicking and throwing things at her and trying to shove her off the porch in Columbia Falls. He reportedly hid in a bedroom where she heard thumping noises. She said she was trying to get a restraining order.  

An antagonistic man allegedly got in his neighbor's face and pushed her in Kalispell. Parties separated. She declined medical attention. 

Dogs were reportedly bitten by a skunk in Kalispell. 

A woman allegedly took someone's truck keys and wouldn't let them leave, blocking them in a Columbia Falls driveway.   

A neighborhood German shepherd chased five kids in Kalispell for the second time. 

A man by two trucks reportedly started a small fire for his breakfast in a Kalispell park and someone called deputies because they weren't sure if a small campfire was allowed. 

A Bigfork resident allegedly reported a neighbor's reckless driving when their vehicle went off the road, saying they didn't think they should have a license or be driving due to their age. 

A driver was speeding and cutting vehicles off in Kalispell.
