Lois 'Jean' Erickson, 89

Lois "Jean" Erickson, born July 21, 1935 — died Oct. 26, 2024.

On Oct. 26, Jean was welcomed into her Savior’s arms. She grew up in southern Illinois, where she met her beloved husband Allan "Dean" while he was attending Southeran Illinois University. They raised their three boys in a Chicago suburb. 

Jean and family eventually moved to the Denver area and lived in the mountains. While there she worked for 20 years at a nursing home before Allan retired. Jean and Allan moved to Lakeside and joined Trinity Lutheran Church. She moved to Kalispell after Allan passed away. 

Jean was loved by all who knew her, and her faith in Christ was the most important thing in her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Allan Erickson; her parents, Emil and Myrtle Fritze; her four sisters, Gloria, Elizabeth, Marsha, and Sandy.  

She is survived by her three sons, Mark Erickson, Kris (Karen) Erickson, and Richard Erickson; her four grandchildren, Hannah (Justin) Hart, Miriam (Jamie) Olsen, Katie Erickson and Michael (Stephanie) Erickson; and her four great-grandchildren: Kyrie, Jason, Vincent, and Imogene. 

Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kalispell at 11 a.m., on Nov. 4, with Pastor Brian Lee officiating. Burial will follow service at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Funeral services are provided by Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory.
