Cleora 'Cleo' Sarah (Hawkins) Paro, 81

Cleora "Cleo" Sarah (Hawkins) Paro, 81, resident of Bay Ridge Retirement Center, Traverse City, Michigan, died Sept. 1, 2024, in her home.

Cleo was born Oct. 30, 1942, to Donald Hall Hawkins and Iris Audra (Smith) in Kalispell. She grew up in Proctor and graduated from Polson High School in 1960. Cleora married John Francis Paro, of Dayton, in Cour d’Alene, Idaho, June 8, 1965.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, John, Aug. 21, 2021, and her mother and father.

She is survived by her brother, Delbert (Rita) Hawkins, Dayton; sister-in-law, Nora Paro, Kalispell; daughter, Lynnette (Larry) Shuman, Gaines, Michigan; granddaughter, Sydney Debien (Patrick) Shults, Olympia, Washington; and grandson, Spenser Debien, Gaines.
