Law roundup: ‘Blood trail’ doesn’t lead police anywhere

A drunk man called 911 and hung up. He reportedly told the Kalispell Police Department everything was OK, that he was shocked when a friend from California, whom he hadn’t seen in more than 20 years, showed up and called wanting to confirm the man was who he said he was.
The very intoxicated man allegedly called the police later, saying a man he didn’t know was in his house, scaring him. The alleged friend was heard saying he was the man’s friend and didn’t know why he was scared. The drunk man then said he thought it was his friend but would wait for police to arrive to verify he was indeed his friend. Officers spoke with the two men who were both intoxicated.
A resident reportedly woke up to the noises of a confused and possibly drunk man trying to get in the front door of their house. The resident got their gun and met him at the back door, telling him he was at was at the wrong house.
Two to three men in a parking lot were allegedly hitting windows and walls of an apartment building.
A woman with two children reportedly walked up to an apartment building as a woman in her 20s, who wasn’t supposed to be on the property, pulled her pants down roughly 30 feet away and then walked with a man behind the building office. The woman with the two children told officers she thought the indecent exposure incident wasn’t intentional but might be drug related.
A woman in Kalispell called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office alleging that another woman accused her of being a snitch and challenged her to fight. The two reportedly started “throwing punches” at each other when she was thrown to the ground, and her purse stolen. The caller said she hung out with the alleged purse thief a few days ago but didn’t know her.
A Bigfork woman called deputies with concerns she was scammed. She allegedly received an email stating she would be given $500 if she paid a $2 fee and provided her card information.
A driver in Kalispell reportedly passed looked into their rear-view mirror to see a man standing by a stop sign waving a sheathed knife around and screaming. They called deputies concerned about his wellbeing. The man was fine and didn’t want any assistance from police.
A elderly man allegedly slapped an elderly woman who was heard saying, “Get away from me,” in a Lakeside home.
