Robidous mark 70th anniverssary

Jerome and Meta Robidou celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Sept. 25.

The family will celebrate as Jerome and Meta have celebrated family occasions over the past seven decades.

Jerome and Meta met at the Coffee Cup where she worked as a waitress in his hometown of Bismarck, North Dakota. They were wed in Meta’s hometown of Hebron, North Dakota, in 1954. Their three children were born in Bismarck, North Dakota where Jerome was a carpenter and farmer and Meta raised the family.

On July 6, 1967, they moved the family to Kalispell. Jerome worked for the aluminum plant in Columbia Falls and Meta worked for Evergreen Schools and Snow Line Tree Company. They have been residents of Evergreen for most of the past 60 years.

They have been blessed with three children Debbie (Jim) Keller, Greg (Terri) Robidou, and Brenda (Tom) Nahring. Four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren complete the family.
