A performance to honor the 2014 Wolfpack.

Kobe Dorcheus ran for 185 yards and three touchdowns, including a 95-yard score in the second quarter, as Glacier defeated Missoula Hellgate 63-8 Friday evening at Legends Stadium.

The Wolfpack (5-0 overall, 3-0 in Western AA) gained 520 yards of offense, 297 coming on the ground, and held the Knights (0-5, 0-3) to 163 total yards.

“These guys just love to play, they love to compete,” Bennett said. “They understand that this is their next opportunity, no matter who shows up to play, to get better. I was so proud of the effort in all three phases.”

Prior to the game Bennett joined members of the 2014 state championship team being honored in the 10th anniversary of their title run.

“It was emotional,” Bennett said. “I don’t know if they understand how special it is until they come back.”

Glacier started the scoring just under three minutes into the game as Jackson Presley found Easton Kauffman for a 16-yard touchdown pass.

Presley finished the evening 13-for-18 passing with 151 yards and three touchdown passes. Kauffman grabbed three passes for 43 yards and one score.

Carson Baker doubled the Wolfpack advantage to 14-0 midway through the first with a 5-yard carry on a reverse for a touchdown.

Dorcheus found his first score of the day on the next Glacier drive, getting in from 6 yards out making it 21-0 less than eight minutes into the game.

Bridger Smith added a 20-yard receiving touchdown on a short out route from Presley to open the second and make it 28-0 Glacier.

“I take a lot of time perfecting my craft and being able to make short moves and be effective with my route running,” Smith said.

The Wolfpack recovered a short kick and less than two minutes later Presley found Micah Klippenstein for his third passing touchdown of the game, extending the lead to 35-0.

After a Hellgate 60-yard punt that pinned Glacier at their own five-yard line, Dorcheus busted a hand-off out to the right and went 95 yards to the house, making it 42-0.

“We had a game plan to hit the A-gap hard and that's what we did,” Dorcheus said. “We just said make one guy miss and get up the field and that's what I did in the second quarter.”

Dorcheus found the end zone one more time for Glacier, this time a short 7-yard carry and the Wolfpack took a 49-0 lead into the break.

Out of the half Carson Baker found the end zone for a second time on the kickoff return, going 97 yards for the score.

With the starters out for the second half, Glacier found one more touchdown as Cruz Grace took it in from 2 yards out to make it 63-0.

Hellgate broke the shutout in the fourth as Vince Paffhausen scrambled to the pylon and scored. A two-point conversion made it 63-8.
