Softball: Pack walks off Capital, falls to Helena
Ava Grady hit a sixth inning walk-off home run to give Glacier a 10-0 run-rule victory in a State AA softball championship rematch from a year ago, while the Wolfpack sustained their first loss of the season in game two of the doubleheader 4-3 against Helena Friday.
In the opener Taylor Vivian started things off for Glacier (4-1) in the bottom of the first inning with a two-run single that drove in Nakiah Persinger and Olivia Warriner.
Later in the inning as the Wolfpack batted around, Warriner doubled to right field and drove in Kaydee Walcheck as Glacier took an 8-0 lead.
