COLUMBIA FALLS — A seventh inning bases-loaded walk to Kailyn Marengo lifted Ronan to a 6-4 victory over Columbia Falls Thursday in Northwest A softball.

The walk, along with a sacrifice fly from Hadassah Read that brought in Autumn Lozeau gave the Maidens (4-3) a two-run lead that held after Marengo closed out the bottom of the seventh in the circle.

Addie Bowler went 3-for-4 for the Wildkats (1-3), including a double.

Polson 10, Libby 3

LIBBY — Emma Smith hit a first inning 3-run homer and Polson never looked back en route to a victory over Libby.

Olivia Jore doubled in the second as the Lady Pirates (4-0-1) added another two runs before the Loggers could get on the board.

Rachel Kosters hit a two-run single in the third to cut the deficit for Libby (2-3).

Jore added a solo shot in the seventh inning to seal the win for Polson.
