"She meant the world to each of us; She always gave her best.

Her journey is completed, and she's now at peace and rest."

Our Mom was born in Plentywood, Montana, to Harold and Elsie Mickelson. She moved to Columbia Falls, graduated with the class of 1974, and spent the last 60 years enjoying the beautiful Flathead Valley.  

Her mother, Elsie, passed away only a month before, and we know she was at Heaven’s gate to welcome her daughter HOME.

Pat spent her entire working career with North Valley Hospital and Logan Health, and she retired in 2022.

To us, though, Mom’s beauty and worth was as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, friend and homemaker. She loved the out-of-doors, and feeding the birds and deer became one of her special hobbies. She decorated cakes beautifully and enjoyed baking and gardening. Her children and three granddaughters were her pride and joy.

She cherished her family and those who left before her—parents, Harold and Elsie Mickelson, brother, Ronald Mickelson, brother-in-law, Lance Hader, and ex-husband, John Johnson.  

We who survive will always miss her—children, Bryan Johnson, Kari Johnson Merrill, granddaughters, Akevah, Bechira and Cayeah Merrill, siblings, Marvin Mickelson, Sharon Hader, Lynda Hill, Alan Mickelson, Karen Cowan and all their families.

On Aug. 2, we will celebrate Pat’s life. The time and place are to be decided.
