Levi James Handford, 36
Levi James Handford, 36, was born on March 8, 1989, to Marla Handford and Chuck Sanders in Kalispell. He grew up between Kalispell and Fargo, North Dakota. On April 12, 2025, Levi passed unexpectedly to begin his final journey.
He enjoyed all the outdoor activities known to man, and those unknown. Levi truly enjoyed fishing anytime whether it be alone or with family and friends, it was his truly happy place. He had an infectious smile and a one-of-a-kind sense of humor.
Levi enjoyed spending time with family and friends, when he wasn’t busy doing what he loved, working alongside his cousin building and remodeling homes. He would call his dad to brag about a finished project and other times for advice on a project or just day-to-day life. Life wasn’t always easy for Levi, but he held his head high and persevered the best he could. He enjoyed time with his siblings, whether it be in person or on the phone.
Levi was preceded in death by his mother, Marla Handford.
He is survived by his son, Cayo Handford; his father, Chuck (Theresa) Sanders; siblings, Chance Handford, Jacob (Dee) Sanders, Matthew Sanders (Josie Nordrum), Jordan (Jon) Lanpher, Alexis (Christian) Fearing, Adryenne Jang and Annissa (Bradey) Berg; grandmother, MaryAnn Rickabaugh; aunts and uncles, Pat (Heidi) Pederson, Terry (Dave) Remendowski, Shawn (Mariann) Johnson and Barb (Russ) Hayek; cousins, Nick (Amanda) Handford, Sam (Cristy) Pederson, Ashley Pederson and Derek Pederson; nieces and nephews, Persephine Handford, Henry Handford, Abigail Lanpher, Camden Lanpher and Jaycee Pederson.
A private celebration of life with be held in the coming days to celebrate the life of Levi James Handford.
