Taste of Bigfork 

The Bigfork Chamber of Commerce holds the Taste of Bigfork on April 27 from 2-5 p.m. Walk from venue to venue in downtown Bigfork for wine, music and food. Then head to the world’s greatest raffle at the Garden Bar & Grill at 5 p.m. Tickets are available at bigfork.org.  


Bash 

The Lakeside/Somers Chamber of Commerce holds its April Bash on April 29 at 4 p.m. at 101 Fold Studio, 7325 U.S. 93 S., Lakeside. An opportunity to learn about the host business and network with fellow business professionals.  


Whitefish Business Breakfast 

“Where do we GROW from here?” is the question at the center of the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce’s Business Breakfast on May 6 at the Whitefish Moose Lodge, located at 230 W. 10th St. in Whitefish. Starting at 8 a.m., Whitefish Planning Director Dave Taylor will talk about recent and future developments for the city, followed by a panel featuring experts in real estate and construction and concluding with information about the ongoing effort to revamp the city's official growth policy. The Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce’s Coffee with the Chamber event is on May 6 at Uptown Hearth in Columbia Falls, located at 619 Nucleus Ave., Columbia Falls. Build business connections from 8:30 to 9 a.m., followed by introductions of all attendees from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Don’t forget to bring business cards to share with others.   


GRIP Safety Training 

Join the Montana Building Industry Association, Get a Grip on Safety and the Montana State Fund for a course focusing on forklift operator certification theory and re-certification. The training runs 7 a.m. to noon at Hampton Inn, 1140 U.S. 2,
Kalispell.

HACCP Training  

Join the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce for a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, or HACCP, Training for Meat Processors and Food and Beverage Manufacturers in the Flathead on May 7. The all-day training takes place at Montana West Economic Development, 44 2nd Ave. W., Kalispell. This class explains the requirements of the Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation of the Food Safety Modernization Act and the benefits of updating an HACCP Plan.
