Balanced Bigfork battles past Libby

BIGFORK — Alex Ochs hit two 3-pointers and scored 15 points to lead three Bigfork players in double figures, and the Vikings swamped Libby 58-30 Thursday in Northwest A boys basketball. 

Treker Hickey hit three 3-pointers on the way to 12 points for the Vikings (5-8 overall, 3-4 in league). Austin Savik had 11 points, nine in the second half. 

Ryan Beagle led the Loggers (3-10, 0-7) with 10 points.

Whitefish 58, Polson 48

POLSON — Cooper Dudley scored 20 points, eight coming during a 24-12 second-quarter surge that carried Whitefish to the Northwest A win. 

Dudley hit two 3-pointers in both the first and second quarters and finished with five. By halftime he had 16 points and the Bulldogs (5-6 overall, 2-4 in Northwest A games) owned 41-24 lead. 

Will Sisson hit two treys and added 14 for Whitefish. Cason Graham hit four 3-pointers for Polson, and he and Malakai Curley scored 16 points for the Pirates (7-6, 4-3 in league).
