Columbia Falls boys cruise to win over Ronan
COLUMBIA FALLS — Bjorn Pedersen scored 12 of his game-high 19 points in the first half and the Columbia Falls Wildcats controlled the game for a Northwest A win over the Ronan Chiefs 57-37 Friday night.
The Wildcats (11-2 overall, 6-1 in Northwest A) defense stifled the Chiefs (8-5 overall, 4-3 in Northwest A), as Tayen Edmo was the only Chiefs player to reach double-figures with 10 points. Columbia Falls doubled Ronan’s score in the first half, taking a 36-18 lead into the break and never looked back.
Cooper Ross scored 12 points for Columbia Falls, all of them coming from beyond the arc. Silas Ympa added 11, including a 3-pointer. The Wildcats knocked down nine triples to Ronan’s one.
