Briann "Bree" Rae Landon Mobley, April 26, 1991 — Jan. 27, 2025.

We lost our baby girl, Briann "Bree" Rae Landon Mobley, far too soon on Jan. 27, 2025. Born on April 26, 1991, to Shanee and Scott Landon, Bree grew up in Columbia Falls where she made lifelong friends and left an unforgettable mark on everyone who knew her. She had an artist’s heart, which led her to study graphic design at Flathead Valley Community College, but her creativity and warmth extended far beyond her studies.

Bree’s first job was assisting a dog groomer in Whitefish, a perfect match for her deep love of animals. She had a way of understanding them, just as she did people, with a kindness that was instinctive and pure. She was the kind of person who could make anyone feel like they belonged, always offering a smile, a laugh, or a small act of generosity that made a difference.

After moving back to the Flathead Valley, Bree joined the team at Smith’s, where she quickly became a beloved coworker and friend. Her kindness and warmth made an impression on everyone who passed through those doors — customers and colleagues alike. In the days since her passing, the outpouring of love from her Smith’s family has been overwhelming. Their support has been a reflection of just how much Bree was loved and how deeply she touched the lives of those around her.

Her greatest joy was in the life she built with RJ Mobley. They weren’t just husband and wife; they were best friends, soulmates in the truest sense. Those who knew them saw a love that was easy, steady, and meant to be. Together, they created a life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering devotion.

Bree’s absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but her love and light remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered for her kindness, her humor, her passion for the things she loved, and the way she made everyone feel at home in her presence.

A memorial service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Feb. 15, at the Columbia Falls Senior Center.
