Judy Schickendantz, 86

| February 12, 2025 12:00 AM

Our beloved Judy Schickendantz, 86, passed peacefully at home on Jan. 25, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. She was as incredible mother, wife, and friend. Nothing was more important to her than family. She was an avid reader, loved bridge, golf, volunteering, and making and nourishing friendships. She strived to make the world a better place and always reminded us in her own words to remember to love those who least deserve it — for they need it the most. She navigated life with a bright smile, quick wit, and a twinkle in her eye.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Mark D. Schickendantz, her children, Mark Steven and wife Cindy, Leigh and husband Mark, David Scott and wife Jennifer, Heidi and husband Bill; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a large community of great longtime friends.

"In the evening sunset, when all the world is through, just look for me and love me, and I will be close to you."

The family would like to thank Logan Health Medical staff, including cardiac rehab, ER, Hospice, Immanuel Lutheran Home Health, Kalispell Fire EMT, and all those offering caring support during her struggle and condolences at her passing. You are greatly appreciated.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flathead Food Bank, Conrad Mansion Museum, Warming Center, and Logan Hospice charity of your choice.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
