Barbara Kraintz, 78
Barbara Jean Kraintz, 78, left us for Heaven Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 1:43 p.m. After her stroke in August of 2019 and suffering all that time in her body and being bedridden, she is finally free.
Barbara was born in Ukiah, California, May 16, 1946, to Nick and Betty Kraintz.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Lorian and Robin, five grandchildren, Alicia, Ashley, Alley, Roland, Bayden and his sister Hanna; with whom she is now joined in heaven, 11 great-grandchildren, her brothers, John and Cornel, half brother and sister, Nick and April, her Uncle Cornel, her two best friends, Maryanne and Denise, and lots of loving friends.
If Barbara loved you, it was to the end. She had a love of people and making them feel good and special. She could cheer you up with a few words and a little time spent with her. She was really good at that! She was forgiving, kind and deep but so much fun. She loved the Lord so deeply and always shared the word with anyone who would listen.
Her spirit is now free and joyous and her greatness that has always been, is no longer stymied by her body and her life on earth.
Barbara left us with one last message as she passed… she timed her own death and final heartbeat to be recorded at 1:43 p.m., which has a special meaning in our family that she started long ago… it means "I love you." It’s the family code. We love you too mom and will cherish your memory and all you stood for.
Barbara will be transported and returned to her hometown and State in Long Beach, California and put to rest near the ocean at her request with her family and friends.
