Dianna Lynn Giddeon, 77

| February 14, 2025 12:00 AM

Dianna Lynn Giddeon, 77, of Whitefish, passed away peacefully on the evening of Feb. 5, 2025. She was born in Boise, Idaho, on Jan. 29, 1948, and grew up in a warm and loving home with her parents, Leland and Margaret Hoch, a brother and a sister. She grew up in Emmett, Idaho and graduated high school in the class of 1966.

Shortly thereafter, she married Tom Giddeon and raised three beautiful children together. They moved the family to Whitefish in 1979 and later divorced. She went to work at the Whitefish Credit Union as a teller and eventually became a bookkeeper. She worked there for over 25 years and acquired many lifelong friendships before retiring.

Dianna had many hobbies throughout her life, starting with racing jeeps, square dancing and round dancing, corvette club outings, bowling, camping, playing cards and dice with her family. She enjoyed going to the rodeo and would always be at sporting events cheering on her grandchildren.

She was a wonderful and loving mother, sister and grandmother who dedicated her life to her family, whom she adored. She is survived by her three children; her son, Dave Giddeon and Lisa (Wally); her two daughters, Brandy and husband Bill Hill and Dale and husband Vinny Siravo; and her three grandchildren, Levi, Kaci, and Deklan Hill, who were the joy of her every day. She is also survived by her sister, Debbie and husband Bill Allen, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Margaret Hoch, and her brother, Larry Hoch.

Dianna was deeply loved and will be missed by all. She had the kindest heart and the most beautiful smile that would light up any room. Heaven gained a beautiful angel, so whenever you see a butterfly, even if it’s a picture, please take a moment to smile and think of her and the joy she has brought to so many lives. Fly high Momma D.

A celebration of life will be held in the warmer months. To leave condolences and share memories with the family visit the website www.austinfh.com.
