The relationship between a pair of neighbors seemingly had gone to the dogs. One of the residents told the Kalispell Police Department that they suspected the neighbor of harassing her by reporting false problems with her canines.

Authorities tracked down a middle-aged couple after a passerby described seeing the woman on the ground as the pair yelled at each other. Officers learned that she had slipped and was yelling in pain. They did not need police assistance.

Dispatchers received a strange phone call wherein they could hear a woman possibly crying or maybe whistling. They could also make out a male voice talking to her. Then the line disconnected. After calling the number back, they learned that the woman had fallen while sledding, but was otherwise fine.

Officers tracked down a man that a passerby described as pacing shirtless underneath the U.S. 93 Bypass. He was wearing a jacket when officers arrived and seemed in good condition. He was later taken to a homeless shelter.

Upon learning from a school principal that their son was suspended for theft, a parent phoned the Police Department to report the crime. They said the minor had gone through other students' backpacks in the locker room and been caught before leaving school property. The money was returned to its rightful owners.

Spotting a motorist driving recklessly, including popping in and out of a ditch and swerving into oncoming traffic, a passerby asked authorities to stop the possibly drunk driver. Watching the blue Dodge Avenger drive into a second ditch, the passerby told authorities that this time he seemed good and stuck. Arriving officers took the motorist to the hospital for a blood draw before dropping him off at the county jail.

Someone found a syringe in a bathroom and asked that the police take care of it.

Forced to run a red light after the temporary traffic signal near the intersection of Hutton Ranch Road and West Reserve Drive seemingly malfunctioned, a motorist looped the authorities in on the situation. The only problem was the traffic signal was operated by a construction company -- neither the city nor the state had access to it. They also couldn't find contact information for the firm. Eventually, though, state employees dug up a number and the construction company sent a worker to fix the signal.

Officers took a woman to a homeless shelter after employees of a business reported her as intoxicated.

Authorities responded to a possible overdose.

After a neighbor alerted officers to a vehicle with a 72-hour parking sticker that hadn't taken the hint and moved, officers contacted the registered owner. She told them it had been hit by another vehicle. She was periodically moving it while she waited to get it into the shop. After confirming her story, officers asked the neighbor to have a little grace given the situation.
