Friday: Eureka and Ronan boys win

EUREKA — Eureka’s Rowan Burow hit three 3-pointers in the first quarter and the Lions never looked back while taking down District 7-B foe Troy 52-32 Friday.

Kyler Kossman scored all of his eight points in the Lions’ first-quarter blitz that put them in front 23-5.  

Cole Santori and Tyce VanOrden each hit a three and added 11 points for Eureka (7-10 overall, 5-4 in 7-B games). Carson Orr led Troy (9-7, 7-2) with 11 as well.

WHITEFISH — Kolby Finley and Chad Higgins scored 12 points each to four Ronan players in double figures Friday, in the Chiefs’ win over Northwest A foe Whitefish. 

Will Sisson hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 17 points to lead the Bulldogs (5-8, 2-6 in league). Ronan improved to 10-5, 6-3.
