A very drunk woman in her 30s allegedly swung her purse at someone in a Kalispell business, creating a scene, before going outside. No one was injured.

Someone allegedly saw a woman and two men, vandalizing their car and standing on their porch. One of the men, who was described as violent, reportedly had a knife. Kalispell Police Department confirmed warrants for one of the men and arrested him.

Officers checked on a man slumped over the wheel of a vehicle sitting in front of someone’s house for 30 minutes, saying he hadn’t moved at all. The officer reportedly knocked multiple times before he woke up, put the car in park and answered questions. Although no drugs were visible, the officer saw his pupils constricted to pinpoints and sweat on his temples. The man was counseled on drug use after he said “he used yesterday.”

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report about a man pushing another man, trying to fight him in a Columbia Falls parking lot.

A caller from Kalispell wanted to know what her rights were to rehome animals reportedly abandoned by her evicted roommate who ceased to respond to her text messages.

Someone alleged that Kalispell residents reportedly had several dogs they couldn’t feed and were leaving them outside and beating them. The person calling in the report claimed that one dog died and a horse had to be put down due to neglect and that the residents lied about “where the puppies came from.”

An Evergreen teacher reportedly saw a vehicle doing doughnuts in the parking lot during morning drop-off.

A dog owner went to the sheriff’s office to report an incident a couple of weeks ago where they were riding a bicycle and pulling their service dog in a trailer when a loose golden retriever ran into their dog, causing it to “yip.” The dog owner, who was skiing nearby, reportedly chalked the collision up to his wild dog “just trying to play.”
