FVCC Festival of Flavor’s event takes on Kentucky Derby theme
Inspired by the oldest continuously running sporting event in the United States, Flathead Valley Community College Foundation’s Festival of Flavors spring event takes on a Kentucky Derby theme for the April 3 event.
The excitement and flavors of the sporting event will be captured at FVCC’s event, themed “Night at the Derby” beginning at 6 p.m. in the Arts and Technology building on the FVCC campus. Tickets for the event go on sale March 3 at 9 a.m.
FVCC’s Culinary Institute of Montana will serve an elegant array of courses, each paired with exceptional wines presented by Mark Gronenthal of Browne Family Vineyards.
“We’re excited to kick off the Festival of Flavors season with our community, who continues to support our students in such an incredible way,” said Tagen Vine, FVCC’s Chief Development Officer. “The Festival of Flavors is not just about enjoying fantastic food and wine — it’s a celebration of the generous spirit that helps make educational opportunities possible for students here at FVCC.”
All proceeds from Festival of Flavors events directly benefit student scholarships at FVCC. The Foundation last year awarded over $2 million in scholarships to FVCC students.
The event is limited to 140 guests. Tickets are $150 per person. Race day attire is suggested, and fabulous hats are encouraged.
