A woman’s 19-year-old daughter allegedly threw a tantrum over toilet paper and was screaming and yelling. The woman's brother-in-law was reeled into the drama, and a full-blown argument ensued. The woman called the Kalispell Police Department requesting an officer tell them their behavior was inappropriate.

An upset woman called officers, reportedly seeking advice on how to deal with an “unsavory” neighbor who had a penchant for name-calling.

A man, who had been escorted out of a fast-food restaurant on a previous day for allegedly throwing a cup of coffee and being disorderly, returned to the area with a crossbow. The crossbow turned out to be a realistic toy and the man told an officer he had no plans to use it, but he didn’t know how to carry it and avoid making people uncomfortable.

A man reportedly followed a woman and her sister around a store and had done it before. She believed he was recording her and her children and alleged that once he realized her sister was recording him back, he left them alone. She was advised that what she described was not a crime and gave her a case report number.

Dispatch reportedly answered an open line to hear a child yelling and singing.

A woman at a location allegedly had frostbitten toes and threatened to cut the digits off and told someone who was concerned not to call an ambulance. They called anyway and she was voluntarily taken to the hospital.

An anonymous caller allegedly told a woman a man had a gun, and she called the police scared he what he would do with the firearm because of past “erratic” behavior and wanted an officer to search him and his room because it was against the location’s policy. Officers explained that law enforcement does not get to search people or rooms based on a person having a gun or it being against policy, telling her she would have to have that conversation with him and if things escalated to call back.
