Girls roundup: Perez leads Maidens to win

POLSON — Nevaeh Perez scored 19 points and the Ronan Maidens locked down Polson in the second half of a 42-35 Northwest A girls basketball win Saturday.

Perez hit a pair of baskets in the third quarter while Ronan ate up a 22-17 halftime deficit; she hit a 3-pointer and scored seven points in the fourth as the Maidens (11-6 overall, 8-3 in Northwest A games) continued to pull away. 

Rylee Taylor-Jefferson led Polson (6-11, 4-7 in league) with 15 points.
