Law roundup: Psychedelic ’shrooms found for sale online

Someone was allegedly selling psychedelic mushrooms on a social media site's marketplace. Kalispell Police Department provided the person calling in the report with the phone number to the Northwest Montana Drug Task Force.

A Subaru WRX with a “turbo-charged enhanced” exhaust system that allegedly has the power to shake houses and wake everyone up between 5:40 and 6:40 a.m.

A pickup reportedly dropped off a heavily intoxicated woman wrapped in a towel, or blanket, at someone’s house and the resident found her standing on their porch, crying and not making a lot of sense.

A man was ticketed for trespassing and released after a contractor reported that someone gained entry to a building and was found sleeping.

A man wearing a neon-colored jacket allegedly lunged at, and shoved, an employee at a facility, threatening her. Employees locked the door when he left. 

A woman went to the Kalispell Police Department to report a man threatening to kill her a couple of days ago. She later called wanting to know where officers were, telling dispatch her call was a priority because someone was threatening her life. 

A trespasser spotted in a store allegedly had a loaded syringe visible in his coat pocket.

Someone reportedly thought a man in his 40s who had “aimlessly circling” the area, checking out different houses, seemed “mentally unwell.” He was OK and headed back to the Warming Center.

A 2008 white Dodge Durango allegedly sat halfway in a ditch for about five days when someone called in the abandoned vehicle.

A woman who reportedly smelled of alcohol and seemed “a little extra social” drove away from a hotel with a 4-year-old child. Officers contacted the woman and did not observe any indicators of impairment.

A man and woman in their 20s were allegedly arguing in front of children, who were screaming, inside a black Kia Sportage. The woman reportedly got out and started running and the man took off after her, saying he was going to leave the state with the kids and then “ripped her by her arm” back inside the vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the parties to check on their welfare.
