Duchien leads Florence over Eureka
HAMILTON — Brody Duchien scored 20 points and Florence downed Eureka 70-36 at the Western B Divisional boys basketball tournament Thursday.
Mason Arlington added 13 points for the Falcons (15-6), who will face Thompson Falls in Friday’s 6:30 p.m. semifinal on Dale Berry Court.
The Blue Hawks (18-3) overpowered Anaconda 54-36 to advance.
Eureka (11-12) faces the Copperheads (9-12) in an 11:30 a.m. loser-out game Friday.

Duchien had 15 points by halftime, then five more in Florence’s 20-4 third-quarter surge that put them ahead 58-29.
Kyler Kossman led the Lions with 16 points. Cole Sartori hit three 3-pointers for Eureka and Rowan Burow hit a pair.

The Trojans found some offensive rhythm after halftime, with Kempton Sloan scoring 12 of his 18 points, but they couldn’t close the gap.
Josh Horn’s 16 points led the Warriors. Carson Orr had a game-high 18 for Troy.
