MOSCOW, Id. — Montana swung the momentum their way in the second half behind Malik Moore’s 18 points to pick up a road win against the Idaho Vandals 73-71 Saturday in Big Sky Conference basketball.

Money Williams also scored 18 for the Griz, while Joe Pridgen recorded a double-double scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

The Vandals (6-9 overall, 1-1 in Big Sky games) cut the lead to three with two minutes left but Williams’ jumper extended the lead to 73-68.

After Kristian Gonzalez cut the Idaho deficit to 73-71, the Vandals went for the win on a Kolton Mitchell 3-pointer with two seconds left, it was off the mark.

Montana (9-6,2-0) shot just 62.5 percent from the foul line, but outscored the Vandals 42-34 in the paint.

The Griz will host Northern Arizona at home Thursday.
