Harriet Louise Baker, 76

Harriet Louise Baker, 76, passed away on Thursday Jan. 2, 2025, in Kalispell. She was born on March 3, 1948, in Sidney, Montana to Ted and Verga (Vitt) Reidle. 

After attending school in Sidney, she moved to the Flathead. While working at C and C Plywood she met the love of her life, DelRaye Baker, and they were married Nov. 2, 1968, in Sidney. She went on to work a handful of jobs and retired in 2008. 

In March of 2007 she lost her best friend of 38 years; but until she passed, she always considered herself to still be married

Up until her death she enjoyed spending time with family and friends while residing in grandma's cave.

She was preceded in death by her soulmate, DelRaye Baker, her parents, Ted and Verga (Vitt) Reidle and her brother-in-law, Jim Iversen.

She is survived by son, Shawn Baker, his wife, Suzanne, their children Brady Baker and Courtney Hammer; her sister, Rose Iversen and numerous extended family.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 17, at Buffalo Hills Funeral Home. She will join her loving husband at Conrad Cemetery immediately following.
