Polson boys upend Whitefish Tuesday

WHITEFISH — Malakai Curley scored 29 points and the Polson Pirates downed Whitefish 66-55 in Northwest A boys basketball action Thursday.

Curley’s night included eight points in the second quarter, when the Pirates (4-3 overall, 1-0 in league) opened up a 36-19 halftime lead. He hit his second 3-pointer and totaled seven points in the fourth quarter as well.  

Cason Graham hit three 3-pointers and added 15 points for Polson. Kyson Michel’s 12 points included two 3-pointers.  

Cooper Dudley scored 19 points, including a trio of threes, for Whitefish (3-3, 0-1 in league). Dudley had 11 points in the third quarter. Conklin hit two 3-pointers for the Bulldogs.
