Kalispell woman killed in rollover crash on U.S. 2
A Kalispell woman died in a rollover crash Wednesday morning in Kalispell.
The wreck at mile marker 128 on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell occurred at 9:15 a.m., according to a Montana Highway Patrol accident report.
The 43-year-old from Kalispell was driving a Hyundai Accent east on the highway, alongside a Ram 1500 pickup from Bozeman. When the Ram driver maneuvered to turn left, the Kalispell woman swerved for unknown reasons. Her vehicle went into a ditch on the north side of the highway, then rolled after hitting a driveway. The Ram was hit in the accident, as well.
The Kalispell woman was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene of the crash.
Drugs are a suspected factor in the wreck, according to the report. Road conditions were dry.
The pickup driver was not injured.
