Law roundup: Man throws gasoline on the fire
Flathead County Sheriff's Office responded to a report that around 20 rabble-rousers were aggravating people in Kila. The person calling in the report alleged that a man threw pallets and gasoline on a fire and then he and others started shooting firearms at each other and in the caller’s direction, possibly hitting vehicles.
Five horses, three draped in blankets, were running free in Columbia Falls.
Someone calling from Somers told deputies they were pounding on a neighbor's door trying to let them know their fence was on fire. The fence was about 2 feet from a carport and situated near a tree by powerlines.
